EXPERIENCE

Battalion Sets - Iraq ($258 Million)

Contract to supply military equipment, including vehicle rolling stock, armor, night vision equipment, fire control, VHF/UHF communication and spare parts for all supported equipment. Deliveries to three sites were supported (Al Kirkush, Taji, and Al Numiniyah). The contract included the supply of parts and operations manuals, and training sessions in product usage (train the trainer). Payments were received on delivery and inspections were made in factories upon receipt of the goods. Delivery convoys were accompanied by security teams, and used daily road reports to follow the optimal unique route each day. Despite these precautions, convoys were hit by roadside bombs on three occasions during the contract. When an attack occurred, the US Army was notified immediately, and goods were immediately readjusted, rerouted if necessary and redelivered to our mutual agreement. This process insured the battalions were adequately resupplied.

Vehicle Maintenance - Iraq ($112 Million)

Contract to provide vehicle maintenance to 4 initial sites in Iraq, as a result of our highly successful performance on two prior emergency maintenance contracts where we stepped in to replace a failing contractor. AHNAM had emerged as the only capable emergency provider of vehicle maintenance services. Within two weeks of our mobilization, the project surged to 10 sites. We were able to meet the demand surge and exceed performance expectations. Part of the contract entailed developing a vehicle parts tracking and request system that is currently being used by both the Iraqi Police and Iraqi Military. In addition to maintenance, the contract included training all master mechanics on the specific rolling-stock involved, and providing sustainment for an over 2,000-strong Iraqi employee base.

Security Services - Iraq ($121 Million)

Contract was to build a security infrastructure to protect the oil industry throughout Iraq. Initially, the goal was to provide the security architecture and then slowly transfer that responsibility to Iraqi control. The end state is a well-trained guard force and mature security infrastructure capable of protecting the multi-billion dollar oil infrastructure. The contract included conducting comprehensive security and protection training, which included deployment of highly qualified training teams to instruct and prepare security and guard personnel in professional security officer duties.
