Thanks to the hard work of CCAN and other great volunteers, Maryland has just passed a bill that that puts us in the lead with the most stringent air quality regulations in the nation. Thank you and congratulations!

Stepping aside from local politics for a moment, I just returned from the march on Washington. First off, let me say that it was a huge success. There must have been at least 500,000 people there in solidarity to oppose this dreadful war. In a counter protest, Bush supporters weren't even able to muster 100, (and that is giving a very liberal figure). I want to give a big congratulation to all of those courageous people who showed up in support for this historical event. Thank You!
ENDORSEMENT!
The campaign season is just kicking off and things are looking far better than expected. Many people are taking interest in our campaign and we are amassing a team of volunteers to help lead us to victory. Furthermore, as of September 3rd we have officially received the endorsement of Road Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669. Let us hope this is the beginning of a long list of endorsements from those who are tired of the neglect from those who claim to support them. I give my congratulations and thanks to our brothers at Local 669 and everyone else for their faith and hard work!
