Donate to the City Council Campaign
Unlike other “major” party candidates, I do not have a huge financial base of fat cats and commercial PACS that provide big money—at a big price!
The other candidates who take these huge amounts are bought and paid for—and the decisions of the Baltimore City Council reflect the desires of the big donors.
So—if I don’t have big money, I have to ask each of you for small money to make this 2007 campaign visible and winning.
The campaign expenses are pretty dull--yard signs, bumper stickers, postage and printing. All expenses are documented in our reports and, after the election each donor will receive a complete account of campaign expenditures.
Sorry, Dr. Mitchell, no expensive hotel suites or mysterious “cash” payments.
Right now, in late August, I am trying to raise $1,500.00 for another order of yard signs. The response as we go door-to-door is terrific so I ask each of you to make a small contribution.
